Till Morning

Privacy policy

Last updated 26 October 2026

The short version: Till Morning has no account, no bank connection and no server of its own. What you park, your budget, your notes and your progress stay on your phone. A few things do leave the phone, and they are listed below.

Who we are

Till Morning ("we", "us") makes the Till Morning app for iPhone. Questions about privacy: support@tillmorning.co.uk.

What stays on your phone

You can delete all of it with Settings → Delete all data, or by deleting the app.

What leaves your phone, and why

Subscription status (RevenueCat). When you start the free week, subscribe or restore, Apple handles the payment. Our subscription service, RevenueCat, receives a random app user ID, your purchase and subscription details and Apple's receipt, so the app knows your plan is active. It does not receive your name, email or card details. RevenueCat's privacy policy.

Crash reports (Sentry). If the app crashes or hits an error, Sentry receives a report with technical details (device model, iOS and app version, what the app was doing in code) so we can fix it. Reports do not include what you parked, typed or recorded. Sentry's privacy policy.

Anonymous usage counts and app speed (Expo). The app counts a few moments, such as "pause completed" or "pass started", and measures how fast screens load, through Expo's EAS Observe. These carry no app names, amounts, answers or anything you typed. Expo's privacy policy.

This data is not linked to your identity, is not used to track you across other apps or websites, is never sold, and is never used for advertising. There are no ads in Till Morning.

Messages and notifications

"Ask a friend" opens Apple's Messages with a draft. You choose whether to send it, and we never see it. Notifications are scheduled on the phone.

How long we keep data

Data on your phone stays until you delete it. Crash reports and usage counts are kept by our providers for a limited time (typically up to 90 days). Subscription records are kept as long as needed to manage your plan and meet legal duties.

Your rights

Under UK and EU data protection law you can ask to access or delete personal data, or object to how it is used. Because we hold almost nothing, most requests are answered by Settings → Delete all data. For anything held by RevenueCat, Sentry or Expo, email us and we will help. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

Children

Till Morning is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date above.
